DigiView™ Remote Viewing Software Installation

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR
LAN CONNECTION:

Download DigiView™ Remote Viewing Software using a Local Area Network.

Select "Run to open this file from its current location", then click "Yes" when prompted.
or
Select the "Save" option then open the file from your hard drive using any unzip utility.

IMPORTANT: Please Print the Configuration Instructions before starting the installation process. The installation program runs full screen (so you can't see this web page) and you need the technical details to connect to the DigiView system.

System Setup: 

Before running the DigiView™ Remote Viewing program, you must set your desktop screen size to 1024 x 768 pixels. You must be connecting using a T1, DSL (Digital Subscriber Line), or Cable modem.

To do this:

1.        Right click on your desktop.

2.        Select Properties from the menu to open the Display Properties window.

3.        Click on the Settings tab.

4.        Move the Screen Area slider to read “1024 x 768”.

5.        Set the Colors drop-down list to “True Color (32 bit)”.

6.        Select the OK button.

7.        On some systems, you may need to re-boot.

8.        If you are unable to set your screen to this level, then your system doen not meet the minimum requirements to run the DigiView™ system. See the System Requirements section below for further information.

 

Program Setup:

IMPORTANT: You will need to have the Microsoft^® DirectX driver installed to operate the software.
Download DirectX from: http://www.microsoft.com/directx/.
Select "Open this file from its current location", then click "Yes" when prompted.
or
Select the "Save this file to disk" option then open the file from your hard drive using any unzip utility.

3.        Carefully follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

 

Running the DigiView Remote Software Program

(Please print instructions before going to step 1.)

1.        Double click the desktop DigiView icon.

2.        Select the connect button

3.        Click remote site

4.        Click add button. 

5.        Click box and select if this site is older than version 5.0

6.     Fill in the following:

Site Code    =              DIGI001

IP Address       =          68.115.163.75

Location     =               digitech

Password     =              1234

Confirm       =              1234

7.     Click ok

8.     Click the remote site button

9.     Double Click Digitech

10.     Click the connect button.

11.     The program will connect to the DigiView™ unit at Digitech.

12.     After connecting, Select any camera button located at the bottom of screen.

13.     Click start video button.

14.     To Select more than one camera, or exit program, Select the stop video button.

 

15.     Please disconnect when finished.

CPU: Intel PIV or Celeron, 1Ghz or greater
Memory: 128MB RAM
VGA Card: AGP 16MB of memory or greater with Intel or ATI chipset.
VGA Monitor: Capable of showing 1024 x 768 resolution @ 60Hz refresh rate
HDD: 10MB of free space needed
O/S: Windows XP/Vista
Connection: LAN, DSL, or Cable Modem
