DigiGate-700™ System Controllers
| The information brain of the DigiGate™ access control system has proven its dependability in thousands of installations across the country and around the world. Through rigorous testing, both the System Controller and the DigiGate-700™ Keypads have earned both UL Listing in the United States and Canada and the CE Mark for approved distribution in the European Union. | |
| Takes input from a variety of devices to process and either accept or reject a code entry.
| Interfaces with your PC for customer entry activities (move in, move out, paid up, delinquent, etc.) and report generation. Otherwise, the Controller operates independently, even with the computer turned off.
| Controls any number or type of devices for granting access and exit - timed activities, such as lighting controls; alarm monitoring for Digitech™ Individual Unit Door Alarms and other intrusion alert operations; and can be programmed to handle any of these in separate areas and zones.
| Built-in surge suppression helps protect from line surges from "dirty" power, lightning, and other unusual line transmissions.
| Automatic power backup in most configurations.
| Easily links with most management programs popular in the Self-Storage Industry, which eliminates the need for entering information twice.
| Discourages tailgating with Antipassback.
Occasionally someone will gain unauthorized entry by following a customer through the gate before the gate has had time to close. The DigiGate-700™ Software includes circuitry that gives you the choice of:
Soft Antipassback, which allows the tailgater to exit, but notifies the manager through a log entry that the offense has occurred.
Hard Antipassback, which does not allow the tailgater to exit, and notifies the manager with a log entry.

| In addition to, or in place of, a standard number faceplate keypad, card readers can bring additional convenience to your facility. Used typically as secondary, high-security devices, card readers can be added in a variety of configurations. Currently, some owners are adding ID cards to work in combination with standard keypads to bring a higher level of security to wine storage lockers and other high-security areas. Proximity Card, Insert-type, and card-swipe-type readers can easily be added to an existing system. |
