The Digital Video Recorder Protector, or DVRP, takes the functions of several individual pieces of equipment, and combines them into one easy-to-install package.

The unit has:

Ø      A battery backup for the incoming power.  This helps prevent damage to the recorder from power brownouts or fluctuations.

Ø      Nine surge protected video inputs and outputs, for connection of the incoming camera video lines.

Ø      Surge protection for the phone line and network connection to the recorder.

Ø      Diagnostic indicators to show the status of the - battery and the surge protection.

Ø      Diagnostic indicator to show if the outlet the unit is plugged into is wired correctly.
